What we're working on
this year.

Open projects, in priority order. Each shows what it costs, what's funded, and what we're doing to close the gap. The unglamorous work — grading and ditches — keeps going alongside.

Lower switchback culvert area Fundraising
Project 01 · Drainage

Replace the failing culvert at the lower switchback.

It's been holding on for two seasons longer than it should. One bad monsoon and we lose the lower switchback entirely. We've got a quote, a crew on standby, and gravel ready to go.

Drainage ditch work Fundraising
Project 02 · Drainage

Re-cut 1,400 ft of ditch line on the north loop.

The ditch on the north side of the loop has filled in over the past four winters with pine duff and silt. A small machine and a half-day will set it back to grade so water flows where it's supposed to.
